Vodafone and Day3 joined forces in 1999 for the front end development of the Vodafone Dealer Commission System which was a system used to calculate commission payable to Vodafone’s dealers.
Vodafone Group is the world's largest mobile telecommunications company. Established in the UK in 1983, Vodafone operates in 29 countries over five continents and has access to a total customer base of 83 million proportionate customers.
A successful partnership led to Vodafone and Day3 working together further to implement a billing system that would act as a temporary alternative to their main billing system during upgrades. This system implements the core business functions as transactions that can then be transferred to the main system after the upgrade is complete.
