Client challenge:
To create a satirical sports site with a uniquely Australian focus that offers fans a humorous look at all facets of Australian Sport, and would become the leading Australian satirical sports site.
Solution summary:
The result was a joint venture between Day3 and Media Giants creating a site that depicts current issues in Australian Sport in a satirical manner, developed using Day3's Bermuda™.
The Bladder’s topics include seasonal sports such as AFL, Horse Racing, the Olympics, Cricket and more, depicted through the use of witty and entertaining comments and ‘mock’ news articles.
User interactivity is encouraged through comical online polling and trivia, weekly ‘headline’ mail-outs and the opportunity for users to submit their own individually ‘bent’ articles for publication to the site.
Non-IT staff can effortlessly attach articles via the Bladder’s simple-to-use management site.
