In order to capture a large market share of the Australian Football League traffic, Sportal contracted Day3 to develop the combined initiative Telstra/Sportal AFL website.

With objectives focused on launching Sportal in to the Australian Football League web-space, and to become the number two AFL website in Australia, it was mandatory for the site’s content to be accessible and usable by both visitors and content maintainers.

In order to meet these objectives, the site boasts regular new content, a depth of statistics, sports personality columns, ladder and fixture details, as well as additional features including an online forum and visitor polling. Detailed search functions and practical navigation aids allow accessibility throughout the site.
