Client challenge:
To establish an online encounter with the PGA Tour of Australasia that would capture a worldwide audience, the PGA also wanted their site to create a benchmark for Australian golf sites offering minute-by-minute information for all golf fans.
Solution summary:
Day3's development has created a unique user-driven and easily customisable online golf experience using the Content Publishing Framework™, offering visitors local PGA tournament results, statistics and player profiles and international tour information during the off-season.
Golf fans can view the latest tour schedules, images and news feeds in a user-friendly environment, with audio and visual features creating an interactive encounter with the PGA.
Fans can watch the leader board, view a tournament’s live scorecard which automatically updates on screen, participate in trivia and polling competitions, listen to live audio with key players and personalities or monitor topics ranging from player performance to the weather.
