Macquarie Bank
Leading bank continues working with Day3
 
Macquarie Bank primarily formed a relationship with Day3 in early 1997 with the implementation of a secure online digital workspace using the iSmart™ Intranet System to develop a web-based solution.

Established as Hill Samuel Australia in 1969, it was transformed into an Australian-owned licensed bank and became Macquarie Bank in February 1985. Macquarie Bank operates in a range of investment banking, commercial banking and retail financial services markets in worldwide and has over 4,000 staff.

The adoption of the workspace by the bank and their clients has resulted in considerable reduction of business cycle time and the success of the implementation has founded a strong rapport with Day3.

This project was then followed in December 1998, with the enhancement of the functionality of a large banking system for Macquarie Bank in Sydney. This meant the enriching of the system interface using PowerBuilder and production support for the system used by clients of the bank.

This highly skilled development and the success of the two projects meant a confident relationship between Macquarie Bank and Day3 that continues to this day.
