Day3 has created several leading edge software solutions for Norske Skog - formerly Fletcher Challenge Paper Australasia and Australian Newsprint Mills Limited respectively.
The range of individual systems has electronically automated a large component of their practices, procedures and service systems. With functions including managing, measuring, charting and analysing key performance indicators, these operational tools enhance productivity, increase production levels and decrease costs.
The quality control system, developed by Day3, has the ability to electronically categorise procedures and dramatically decrease possible error, manual paperwork, time and cost. It also automatically notifies and prints equipment and system instructions.
ASIP has shown substantial time and cost savings for Norske Skog as well as improving quality and accountability of working procedures.
